Emilio Del Priore, M.D., who was born on Long Island and is a first-generation Italian-American, has had a passion for an active lifestyle and helping others since childhood. As an avid soccer player and sports enthusiast, he always valued peak physical performance and optimal athleticism. Later on, it was a natural progression that he gravitated toward the field of medicine.
Dr. Del Priore completed his Internal Medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. He had the honor of being named Chief Resident and served an extra year. He subsequently fell in love with Cardiology as this subspecialty encompassed his fascination with fluid dynamics and electrical conduction.
He completed his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the prestigious NY Hospital-Cornell/ Presbyterian Hospital System. Upon graduation, Dr. Del Priore decided to start his private practice while continuing to see patients at local top-rated hospitals.
Throughout his career, Dr Del Priore has performed over one thousand Stress Tests and countless diagnostic procedures utilizing the most advanced ultrasound techniques such as Transcranial Doppler, Arterial and Venous Circulation studies, and Coronary Calcium Scoring.
Dr. Del Priore also developed his own special technique to make Loop Recorder implants virtually painless and with minimal discomfort to his patients.
